How we got home…

First flight: OGG (Kapalua, Maui) » LAX.
Second flight: LAX » MSP left an hour late.
Third flight: MSP » STL missed because
(a) Delta changed our flights and flight times, leaving only 35 minutes to make this connection;
(b) LAX » MSP left an hour late for unknown reason(s).
Initially, Delta booked us on a 7:25 p.m. flight, which would have gotten us home about midnight. We were the squeaky wheel and we made this earlier-than-7:25-p.m. flight as standby passengers. We apparently took the places of two passengers who missed this flight because *their* flight into Minneapolis-St. Paul was late arriving. :-\
