‘Clarissa’ (Doulton & Co Limited)

This is a family piece from my mom's Aunt Helen (her mother's sister), Royal Doulton Figurine HN 2345 (issued 1968–1981). Not something that Clare & I would choose, but in some cases, heirlooms are heirlooms, right?

And as for this being my 365 post for the day, it was beyond desperation. About 20 minutes past desperation … with flash to boot, so you know I was desperate! Flash on porcelain? Yeah, this posted image qualifies for "ETSOOI"!

Royal Doulton, yes, but no "hand-painted periwinkles"! If that sounds familiar to you, check yourself: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0098837/trivia
