The best printer I ever had was the first one, an HP LaserJet III. It was a beast, cost about $1,300 delivered in 1991, but it lasted and lasted and lasted… Of course this was long, long ago, in a gal-— Sorry. That was long, long ago, before printer manufacturers realized that the real gold mine was in the consumables.
These spent cartridges belong to the two current printers and I'm not really enamored of either of them, but especially the 15-month old HP Envy 4500. It has been a nightmare with the replacement of cartridges *every time*. As I've gone through the replacement process, Clare asked the question above, Does *anyone* love their printer?
