A Carbondale tradition, though probably one that is replicated in small bakeries in cities and towns all over the U.S. (and abroad). Deliciously soft sugar cookies covered with pink icing. While my sweet-weakness is probably ice cream, Clare is my cookie monster, so I stopped and picked up a couple pink cookies on my way home from breakfast with my Cursillo brothers.
