Flattened and GONE!

Semi-rigid dryer venting duct.
Just as the outside dryer vent cap is gone, so also is this. I have replaced it with a length of rigid ducting, which is more efficient in terms of venting and safer for not trapping lint in the folds. This length also had some small holes, so there was no temptation at all to save it!

This task required the purchase of tin snips (to cut the rigid duct to length). As an engineer-friend says, “every project deserves a new tool”!

An interesting shot of different textures! Looks like something that the Roman Soldiers would have worn!
