Yeah, the smoke detector. It was chirping when we checked in yesterday. We reported it to the front desk and they said they would take care of it while we were out.
They didn't.
When we returned to the room, I went to the front desk and they gave me this battery. I installed the battery, attached the detector to the ceiling and we went to bed. Until 5 a.m., when the chirping came back. Apparently it was *not* a fresh battery. Sigh. I had taken it down — again — removed the battery and left it on the bathroom counter. I shot this photo as we were leaving for the airport.
