Down in London and a brief after work get together with Andy, Isla and Alison. I walk past this bike every time I come down, it's always locked up here just round the corner from the British Museum. I've always been taken by the wicker basket and have tried to photograph it several times but never been happy with the result. Not really sure about this one either if I'm honest but I can stop worrying about it now.
I think the wicker has good definition. Have you tried taking a photo from the other side, to make the basket the subject? If so, can you still tell that it's on a bicycle, because I think that makes it better tha
Love this! The wicker basket was the firs thing to catch my eye, but also love the bike, the B&W and those women, so absorbed and unaware of the shot! Great candid! :-)
Oooh it's lovely though obviously I don't really like bike shots ;0) !!! That's a gorgeous bike light too and a sharp B&W - is that Picnik - it seems to go grainy when I convert? Might try a nice hard B&W next time I spot a bike!!
