K is for Kirkstall Abbey

A 12th century Cistercian abbey, surrended to Henry VIII's dissolution in 1539. Not far from Leeds city centre, and set in some parkland next to the river. I think the monks used to brew a heady ale here.

great photo, brings back lots of memory's - I lived just behind it at Kirkstall Brewery halls of residence 8 years ago!
