Literally stumbled across this guy near Blackfriars Bridge when down in London last week. Felt a bit uneasy taking the shot, checked he was breathing first.
Did a similar shot about a week ago at our local beach. You're right when you say you have to see if they are alive, but it is great commentary about our society. I like it a lot.
Photos like this shine a hard light on the reality of life for some folks. He's someone's son, maybe someone's husband, father ,brother. There but for grace......Prayers for all of those living like this out there in the world that they find a better life.
holy crap Richard...WOW..this is so intense...this is crazy intense...omg..my heart is skipping...wow...now i know how people feel when they open up some of my shots...his head on part of the step....his drink that is spilled that almost looks like it could be blood coming from his hands....oh lord...my heart goes out to him....
