Yeah, the 73 to Stoke Newington, picking up passengers outside King's Cross station. Public transport seems such a great way to capture a city, you get people obviously but also instantly recognisable images.
I'd never caught a London bus before this year (apart from the open top tourist one) but my daughter wanted to as she's not keen on the tube and I was pleasantly surprised, especially if you get a seat at the front on the top deck.
buses are lovely - the top front of a double decker is worth trying for, like the front seats on the DLR - and that's a great shot - really gives a feel of the buses in action
Great clear picture. Up top, at the front - fab seat. But my all-time favourite is the one on the old Routemasters on the lower deck, left-hand side at the front - you can see the driver in his cab and pretend you're driving the bus ...
I hadnt been on a city bus since teenage then we moved to Singapore...no longer able to afford a car the buses and MRT it was. Its a bummer if you end up standing for an hour at the end of the day. great clear shot for a night shot.
