Star trails by richardcreese

Star trails

72 photos of 30 seconds . Had to stand with the camera to keep pressing the shutter as I have no cable release, needed to spend more time on this. Last time I tried this I had gaps and traced this back to a slow memory card. The orange trees are because I took this between two street lights.
very neat. I love the trees.

Cool shot, the orange trees work well against the night sky.

Lovely Richard. I do like star trails. Makes interesting photos but seems quite time consuming. I think i would invest in a cable release. Could go on your Christmas wish list! hahaha.
I quite like the orange tree too. Well done

Good work, awesome capture! I would like to do this as well, but simply don't have time and patience to spend that much to one photo. Maybe some day.

Clearly this means you HAVE to have a cale release. They make life so much easier. Nice star trails. I am looking forward to doing a few more once we move because we will have a lot less light polution so should get better shots than I do now.
