Hadn't been out today, but had to run an errand late this afternoon. On the way home, saw Mr. Eagle up there on the cell tower, where, normally at this time of the evening, it would be covered with the vultures. Of course, didn't have the camera, so ran on home, got the camera and went back. Fortunately, Mr Eagle was still there. A little wind blown, but proudly watching over the grounds.
I declare! You can see a hawk, go get your camera and still come back to find him waiting for you. I'm impressed. And envious. Saw several B. eagles today but knew if I even stopped the car they'd fly off out of camera range. I am NOT the bird-of-prey whisperer that you are!

Well Denise, I have noticed that when these eagles do land on this tower, they usually stay there for a while, so it does give me time to run home and get the camera. It was just very surprising that not one vulture was up there, when usually it is covered. Kerri, I bet he was getting better reception then I do at the house. :-) Cant even use the cell phone in the house.
