Looks like some interesting shaped buildings there though!

indeed! The tower is an old water tower, 9 storeys. I love it - had a good snoop on the estate agent's website when it was up for sale! The other buildings are parts of what was once an old 'lunatic hospital' complex, now all converted to flats.
