Another very wet and windy day. I'm not complaining because I love British weather. I have loved listening to the rain this month and in our house, the upstairs only has sky light windows so the rain sounds great! I was sitting at my computer this evening when a torrential downpour began and I went to one window and loved that cloud. If you view it large you can see the rain puring down, that's why the picture looks quite grainy. I took some 'wet' photos in the garden earlier but I like this one more for the memory of the rainy sounds and that cloud passing by. I also so quite like that perfectly round droplet dripping off the window, even if it's not in focus!
Although the raindrops sound great hitting them, the downside to skylights is getting wet when you open a window in the rain - I had to get a towel out after this one as rain has started to run down the wall inside!
This is very cool! Glad I found your photos via the discussion about Peak District. Pardon my ignorance, I didn't even know about that region, reminds me a lot of Oregon!

Thank you! I wouldn't expect you to have heard of the Peak District really. I knew nothing of Portland until today but I really enjoyed seeing bits of it in the video.
Oh yes rain sounds great, especially when you're camping! It can get a bit annoying after a while though. This shot is great I love that beast of a cloud hanging out at the end of your garden!
