The only photo I have taken today. I'm feeling really tired this week so couldn't be bothered to do anything else!

Someone was off sick today so I volunteered to do their playground duty (I don't mind it on days like this!). The field was dry enough for the children to use and a few girls spotted some patches of purple flowers amongst the usual buttercups, daisies and dandelions and asked me what they were. I thought they were a type of speedwell but said I'd have to look them up to be sure so I took a snap with my phone (it's all I had) which is a bit old, dropped many times and has a couple of years of dust or something on the lens! It's not a good photo and yet I feel it has a certain something that makes me quite like it. It is straight of of camera, as always, I think the blurry edges are caused by my grubby lens!

It was so sunny I couldn't actually see what I was snapping so I missed off most of the speedwell off (I only captured one flower!) but I'm pretty sure that's what it is, common field I reckon from what I can remember of the petals.
It does have a charm of its own. It almost has an old fashion picture feel, like a summer of long ago. I think the blur and perspective give it this look and the indistinct grass dotted with the daises.
