We took a fantastic walk late this afternoon, even though it was so hot again. Tissington to Dovedale. I had so many photos, I really couldn't decide between a panorama, cows and sheep, a heron, lovely sunlit meadows and fields... in the end, I went for a skylark because both our walks this weekend featured lots of them.
Your blog is great. Nice to see the whole of the walk, you have some lovely shots. You did well to get any pictures of skylarks, I think they normally are shy?

I don't know if they're shy but they do tend to fly away as I'm about to press the button! I know they're in decline but there still seems to be many around here.
Looks like your area is great for hiking. Some spectacular landscapes and paths there. I like to hike, but the area where I live have lots of mountains and hikes are mostly straight up and straight down ;-) Sometimes I wish I could find a nice, long realatively flat trail somewhere!
