A snapshot of my morning, which I spent on my knees in the staffroom painting a 'pin the tail on the corgi' for a garden party on Thursday. The head teacher didn't want a standard corgi picture but one jumping up at the queen's legs as she thought this would make it more challenging. I was horrified when she asked me to do it yesterday as I'm not arty or crafty AT ALL and I didn't have a clue how to go about it, but this morning it came together quite nicely and quite by chance, the bit of bunting matches the skirt in colour - I hadn't noticed that until someone asked if it was intentional!

I couldn't decide whether to go with the in progress photo or the finished piece so I made a little collage.

Hmmm, collage - could be away around my indecision over the weekend's photos!

These were taken today but picmonkey has lost my date info.
You are a much better corgi-painter than me! Our school garden parties are tomorrow.

Well done, what a nightmare. I like the in progress one the best, shows us what you were doing, but both nice shots.

@jennywren
Thanks - I've since realised that the in progress shot was actually more or less finished! At that point I just had to stick on the bunting and wash the paint pot - in my head it was less finished than that, lol!
