August photo a day challenge - outside - a view over Manchester from the M60.
Dave's car failed its MOT on Monday (It was a 20 year old Metro!!) and we've decided it's not worth repairing so we've had to search for a new car. Found the perfect one on ebay and went to Manchester this evening to check it out. Ten years old, fab condition, well looked after and only 28,000 miles on the clock - all for less than £1500! We paid cash, bought 24 hours insurance there and then for my dad and he drove it home for us this evening. I asked Dave to take this on the return journey, as I was driving. There was a lovely view of the Peak District moors a moment earlier which is what I wanted but by the time the camera was ready we had dropped in height a little. You can still see a bit of moorland - just - on the furthest horizon!
