My monthly reads photo - I read lots this month.
Great idea for a photo. I'm impressed with how much you've read.

I'd be interested to hear what you think of Stephen Booth, I am always on the lookout for new crime thriller writers!

I am really enjoying Stephen Boot - I can't put them down! I know all the places in the stories as I know the Peak District which I think helps as I can really picture everything, and I can work out where he is when he's changed the names! I'd highly recommend giving it a go. Blood on the Tongue has been my favourite so far, that was the third book. I wrote a bit about it in in the link above. Try the first couple of books and see what you think?

I can't believe that it's time for your book shot again, where has the month gone. I have read your blog and find it such a shame that the government will keep messing about and changing goalposts on the teaching front, in many areas. Very frustrating for you after all those years of studying, yes hard to know where to go now.
Love all those photos of the walk through the wood. The sun through the trees and the lines of trees are lovely.
I really enjoy reading where you have been and the photos of those places. I still have loads of your back blogs to catch up on.
I comment here as I am not on the blog site and hope that is ok with you. Hope you are both better soon.

We are feeling much better now thanks! Glad you are enjoying my blog. You can leave an anonymous comment and add your name in the text without being signed in I think but yes, it's fine by me if you comment here or there!

The month certainly has gone fast and yes, my career issues are so frustrating, it really gets me down that I just can't get anywhere, but I guess if I keep trying, one day I will make it!

@roachling I will order his first one then. I like reading books where I know the area too, so I am sure that will add to my enjoyment.

@seanoneill hope you don't mine me answering from Louise's comment but have you read any Michael Connelly books. He is crime writer that I have recently found.
