In need of a photo, I pulled in for a moment as I was driving along a lane and snapped some hogweed. The hill in the background is The Cloud in Bosley, Cheshire. It was so dull I just used the flash and I like the way it turned out; much better than the non-flash, dull, grainy silhouette-y shots. I'm struggling this week with the weather so dull and gloomy.
Simply lovely.

That's come out rather well, sort of metallic. I hear you about the weather, not much inspiration to be had outdoors with light like this.

It turned out bright! I was at Bosley Locks a couple of weeks ago - love the place!

I think many of us are starting to get those gloomy days with little opportunity of nice existing light. The shot is fine, Louise. And I like the background scenery, too.
