I've been busy today... it was dark before I even thought about a photo and then I spent the evening working on an important document, getting it sorted out and within a word limit so today I decided to make do with a sort of diary shot of my computer! I attempted to make it a little more interesting by moving the document over to reveal part of my current desktop image, which is one I took yesterday. That lovely hill is a distinctive one in the Peak District so perhaps someone can name it? I haven't decided which photo to upload for Sunday yet, I'll get on to that tomorrow.

Looks like a gorgeous view, is it parkhouse?

It's one of my (many) favourite views, my grandparents lived near here. You are almost right, that hill is Chrome Hill (pronounced croom) but Parkhouse is hiding just behind the document! There are more views of these hills here

This is such a wonderful looking hill Louise. Think we need to visit each others locales! Yours is probably too steep for my out of condition self and mine is probably too sedate for you!

@roachling Beautiful pictures and words, sounds like an idyllic day and what a funny pig just ambling along like that!

@seanoneill

haha, I'm getting a bit out of condition myself so I think I'd probably enjoy a more sedate walk!

@hasselhotch

Thanks, glad you enjoyed it! The friendly pig was one of the highlights of that walk!

Ha! We all resort to this at one tome or another. Thank heavens for LCDs so the problems of CRT scan lines have been put to bed.

The photo on the desktop looks grand, but I rather like this one too. It's the purple keyboard.

@automaticslim
Thanks... the purple is the light from the nearby turtle tank, the first photo I took was just after the light had switched off (as it's on a timer) and it just didn't look right so I put the light back on for a few minutes to take another one and it made a big difference!

Read your wander in Bakewell. Love the carvings and the church. As always your views and country scenes are a pleasure to see.
