My weekend was so busy I've barely touched my camera for days, hence getting a bit behind here. This was the only picture I took on Sunday, just as the light began to fade, so although it's not very good it'll have to do.

This is our christmas tree. We moved it into the house on Sunday after a year in the garden and put it in the cold, unfinished conservatory to acclimatise a bit before it goes upstairs into our warm living room. I bought this little 1 foot high tree last year and it's grown around 6 inches and become a bit bushier since then.

Last year was the first christmas that Dave and I lived together - that we lived in the same county (we were 50 miles apart for seven Christmases) - so we got this tree with a view to seeing how many Christmases it can be with us, having a tree that's a little bigger each year! And if we ever manage to get our own place, we can take it with us in its pot. I'm amazed it survived a year in my brown fingered care, but it has and it's looking good.
Nice personal story. I hope that it grows to rival the tree in Trafalgar Square :)
