drifting snow

It was a very bleak day on the moors today, in some places, where the wind was blowing hardest, it was a white out. I love the bleak days.

We went to Buxton and found some dinosaurs, then we went sledging and took a short walk. In the evening we drank hot mulled wine in front of the TV - it was a good day. http://roachling.blogspot.co.uk/2013/01/snow-scenes-dinosaurs-and-bit-of.html

On my morning walk with the dog I look east towards Jodrell Bank ( 13 Miles ) and then to the CLOUD at Congleton ( 18 Miles ). The Hills beyond were loaded with snow. Your territory I believe Louise. I love this shot . FAV ........ :))

Thanks, I took it from the warmth and comfort of my car! The roads were so quiet I was able to stop for a moment whenever I liked to take photos!

Ooo that looks a bit dodgy for driving! Would normally go for it if there's that much snow and I know the roads, but not when it is so hard to see! Great shot and it sounds like you had a great day :)
