A very fine wall

I took a lot of photos of this wall, while Dave stood waiting, telling me it was just a wall - but look at it, what a beautiful wall! A fine example of craftsmanship, it's perfect :)

Another photo from our walk on Saturday, and another filler, even though I have taken some photos today, because this wall deserves to be included!

It's not the wall that makes the shot for me Louise, The wall is great foreground interest and as you say is great craftsmanship but the landscape in the distance is what completes the shot for me. All creates a good photo.

yes the landscape is great too. I did have a closer view of the wall to put up, but when I looked again I decided i preferred this one with more landscape in the shot too.

That's a nice example. I can see plenty of drystone walls from here, but not many of them are that carefully made.
