Getting up to mischief again. This week, it seems Ernie has decided he fancies removing the heater so he's been spending time every day biting at it and the suckers attaching it to the tank. Next week, he'll move on to some other way of making mischief, that's how he works, always up to something, Dave always says we should have called him Randle the vandal.
Anyway, I didn't have a shot for today and sitting at my computer watching Ernie's antics, I realised Ernie hadn't featured here for a while so decided I'd snap him now and use this shot for today.

Yes we'll keep him forever. We rescued him after Dave's old neighbour abandoned him. He'd been mistreated for years and was not a happy turtle when we got him, but he is now :) We've had him for 5 years and we think he's aged about 37-40. They live until they're 60 or so. He's fully grown and is a small species, he fits in my hand - if you click the tag on this photo, all my pictures of him are there and you can see him in Dave's hands for scale.
