A visit to Bempton Cliffs where I saw so many wonderful birds - gannets, razorbills, guillemots and kittiwakes mainly, but a few others too, including a puffin! It's a fantastic RSPB reserve and one of the best places to see seabird colonies. I'd highly recommend a visit and I have to thank Philip (@pwt) as without his gannet photo on 13th April, I wouldn't have known about this place!
Brilliant, Louise. I have been waiting to see your shots. This is a great gannet shot. I also love watching them dive into the sea. Just visited you blog too. You have some great shots there, especially of the razorbills. And I love your Puffin photo.
Wonderful shot, love gannets.This made me laugh as it made me remember our trip to RSPB Bempton 2 years ago - totally the wrong time of year and we all got very excited about one baby gannet - my write-up here. http://www.flickr.com/photos/ayla63/6299978086/
I work in ~Bridlington every day Louise and every day I think I must go to Bempton Cliffs! I really really must go now!! Might leave it a little longer though until the Puffins are there. Was also thinking of taking one of the boat trips that get you right up to the cliffs! This is a wonderful photo and very inspiring! So crisp and clear!

Thank you both, I did think maybe I should crop it, but then I just uploaded it to get the space filled. It's not the greatest photo so I don't think the crop would be a massive improvement really!
@andrina
Thanks for the tip. My aunt has a holiday home that way so I have been to the area a few times and every time I visit Flamborough, it's either chucking it down or so windy I don't even want to get out of the car! I'm hoping next time I go, I'll manage more than a five minute stop there!
Thank you. I had a great time, can't wait to go back - hopefully next month when some more puffins have arrived!
