I had a really long day and didn't get home until almost 9pm. I went to my first meeting at the school I'll be working at from September and I think I'm going to have a really positive experience there, the staff made me feel so welcome :)
I didn't manage to take any photos so this is another from my 'golden hour' drive on Sunday (when I snapped that sunset/cotton grass - http://365project.org/roachling/365/2013-06-09). These red deer were roaming the moors as I made my way home.
@helstor
I don't see them too often no. I'm rarely out at the best times to see the deer but then there are plenty of wild deer around and it isn't unusual to spot one while we're out for a walk. Last time I saw one was about a year ago as far as I can recall and I managed a few pictures then - http://roachling.blogspot.co.uk/2012/07/the-bullstones-and-wincle-minn-part-2.html
This looks good viewed large so you can see the deer more clearly. Have you thought about cropping out some of the sky so that the horizon is not in the middle?
@dh
Thanks, No I hadn't thought of that, I quite like the even balance of grass and sky, but I'm always open to suggestions. I might see what it looks like.
