The county boundary lies in the valley here, between Cheshire and Staffordshire, with the Derbyshire border nearby too. A similar view has featured here before, only last month in fact http://365project.org/roachling/365/2013-06-20, but I'm struggling this week! The hill is Shutlingsloe in Cheshire. Today has been rainy all day, which I'm happy about as we haven't had much rain lately. Hopefully it'll help reduce the fire risk status on the moorlands a little after so much hot, dry weather.
