horse chestnut leaves

all work and no play for me, it looks likes that is how it is until July. I was on the verge of quitting this course earlier, but I decided maybe I'm giving up too easily so have to carry on... 11pm and still so much to do :(

I'm at university every day next week and am worried about how many tasks they are going to set us when I'm already sinking beneath my paperwork!

Today's picture was just a quick snap from a window as I didn't have time for anything else and don't have any photos for fillers as I'm taking so few at the moment. Still hoping the course, and I, will settle into more healthy routines but it's not looking good.
Love the contrasting colours. Everything is starting to turn now autumn is upon us. Lovely blue sky. You sound so dejected at the moment and struggling with the workload, am sorry to hear that. So glad to read you are carrying on though, keep fighting it will be worth it. Don't stress about 365 project, use it as a bit of escape when you get chance to. Thinking of you Louise and sending a big hug to try and cheer you up x

Lovely autumn leaves against a beautiful blue sky. You are cetainly having a struggle at the moment, well done for continuing your course, its still early days. Agree with Andrina, use 365 as an escape, certainly don't worry about commenting. Thank you though for your lovely comment on my photo. Take care.

Yep, courses do take up lots of time! 365 will still be here when you come back if you give it a break for a few weeks to concentrate on the course. I hope you can find a positive space in your head that stops you from feeling bogged down with it and empowers you to crack on with it and get it done. I remember some of my early years courses involved huge amounts of paperwork they seemed like mountains but by keeping on steadily chipping away at it I got there in the end.

I was talking to a friend of mine this weekend. He has just started a course which sounds just like yours but I think he does one day a week in college. He has got two little kids and has been a stay at home dad for a couple of years and is finding things really hard too.

I do one day a week in uni and 4 in school. I really couldn't do this if I had children as well, I'm finding it hard to look after myself at the moment! The course is being run as a full time PGCE alongside full time working in school teaching so essentially we've got a double workload. I've heard that it will calm down once we get the hang of the daily paperwork and other things and I'm desperately hoping it's true as I don't think I can survive on this sort of schedule until July! Hope things calm down a bit for your friend too.

Well done for giving it another try. Just remember that anything worthwhile is seldom easy.

Thank you - I saw an inspiring quotation recently - "there is no progress without challenge" ... this course is certainly a challenge, but every course I've done has seemed impossible at some stage, and looking back now I can see how east they were!
