I had a pleasant day out in some warm sunshine and had lunch with a friend. Also today, I finally got around to selling some unwanted rings to a jeweller after deciding some time ago that cash in our savings is better than jewellery I don't like or wear in a drawer. I didn't manage to take any photos while we were out, except a quick snap of the rings, just as a record, so pulled over on the way home to photograph this tree - I always look at it as a potential photo when I pass but this is the first time I've ever photographed it!
Lovely shot, what a great find, wonderful spot, I have been looking for one of these near me with a clear back ground, imagine this with vivid sunrise, sunset, stormy threatening sky or wonderful clouds, sure we will see this again.
That's what this project does, gets us to stop and capture what we admire for years but don't take the time to do. i bet it looks good in all the different seasons and times of day too!
