We went walking today, I picked a route that took us across some of my favourite moorland, with grouse, curlews and meadow pipits, and then down this clough, alongside the brook. It was only a quick six-miler but it was a good walk :)
Lovely look back at the water comimg through. I looked at your link to yur blog, havnt been able to get to much of late. All your photos of that walk are marvellous, would have loved to have been there. Great to have the curlew so near at the end. Like the skylarks here, you can hear them singing so beautifully but hardly ever really see them.
Thank you both. It was a quite a wild, rugged walk all round Mary, across open moorland.
I've added some photos to my blog if you'd like to see more.
