Wild garlic and wood anemones

Just one scene from a short walk, around 5 miles, in the Forest of Bowland.
Beautiful woodland.

I bet that smells amazing when it's all out. Lovely woodland landscape Louise.

I'd like to just step right into the woods (not sure where I would walk since the ground seems completely carpeted). I think this might be what we call ramps around here.Yum.

I was standing on the footpath through the woods, just didn't get any of it in shot! Wild garlic is also known as ramsons in the UK

I havnt seen White wood anemones in our woods. Love the spread of these woodland flowers. Only ever seen wild garlic in southern Ireland, it was growing out the side of the stone walls, you could smell it too.

Wonderful setting for a walk, although 5-miles would be quite a long walk for me!
