Ramshaw Tree in October by roachling

Ramshaw Tree in October

I've been so busy so far this month that I completely forgot to take my monthly tree photo on the 2nd, and on the 3rd, 4th and 5th! It's Lucky, I remembered today as I have no chance of getting there around the right time any other day this week!

I'm taking a photo of this tree on the 2nd (well mostly the 2nd!) of every month this year - you can see previous photos of it here:

@junep Thanks for your comment. I did this last year with three trees and made collages in December (I'll be doing the same with this one when I have the 12th photo) - you can see them here (click on the photos to enlarge) http://roachling.blogspot.co.uk/2013/12/a-tree-through-year.html

Another lovely lonely tree. I am off tomorrow to go out with an expert woodland photographer. I am hoping to get some shots but the weather is looking a bit dubious. We shall see.

@macromover I'm out tomorrow too, learning how to propagate veteran tree seeds with the wildlife trust - let's hope the weather is kind to us! Hope you get some good shots!
