Solstice

I opened the final door on my 'advent' calendar which is actually a countdown to the winter solstice, as I don't do religion. It says:

Light Solstice fires, gather around, drink, eat and be merry and call the sun to remind him to bring back the summer warmth.

A happy solstice, one and all!

This is a wonderful season to gather loved ones around fires. Beautiful calendar makes me think of things I could make one for. Like my wedding anniversary. If I counted it down I'd probably actually remember it
