Oh Stickmas Tree... by roachling

Oh Stickmas Tree...

Our Stickmas Tree this year, a nice alder branch, complete with some catkins, cones and a few leaves, foraged from one of the lanes I take to school, probably blown down by the wind. We scavenged the branch and decorated it on the spur of the moment at the weekend... I wasn't going to bother again this time, I was having another bah humbug year, but it's quite nice to have it so I'm glad we made the effort :)

This is our tree, in our little upstairs living room. There is a proper tree in the main living room here too, but we never go in there!
That is beautiful and all the better for having completed it yourselves, I love it, have a great Christmas Louise

@oopsadaisy @dizzyd Thanks! We started doing this in 2011, the first Christmas when Dave was living here, rather than 50 miles away, and it's become a tradition (except for last year when we didn't have any christmas decoration at all!)

This is lovely. I like traditional Christmas trees too, but have found they don`t combine well with having a cat or cats.
