A view from my route to school... staff meeting after school today again so I knew I wouldn't get out while there was still daylight. We had just a very light dusting of snow here (I'm hoping for more at some point, enough for at least one snow day, hehe) with a bit more on the hills around Home, which you can just see over the border in Cheshire on Shutlingsloe here. There's a mist lingering over the rocks where I grew up (on the right) too, as there often is (see tag http://365project.org/tags/roachling-home )
I think that I would have liked a lower perspective where I could have seen more (and more close up) grass in the foreground since the sky isn't offering too much.
the coloring of the sky is beautiful. Reading the last comment, I see that what strikes me about the picture is the balance between the empty expanse of snow and empty expanse of sky.
