Finally, I got my snow day - school was close today because of the snow :)
Having been suffering a cold for the last couple of weeks, I stayed in bed and had a long lie in so I wasted half of my morning off, then spent the rest of the day doing the washing and cleaning (my Friday routine) so despite having an extra 6.5 hours at home today, I didn't finish cleaning any earlier and didn't have time to go out to play :( I did make fat cake for the birds though, that's one job I won't need to do tomorrow now.
The snow has been melting fast as it was quite sunny, but we've had several snow showers this evening and I'm sure it'll be around for another day or two. This was taken from home later this afternoon.
At least you will have the weekend clear! Hope the cold disappears soon. Lovely wintry photo. Don't think we are ever going to get any white stuff here! 😕
