Starling

We don't have many starlings around here, I don't see them often so I was surprised when I could hear some today - there was a very small flock of them. The collective noun for a starling is a chattering, which I think suits them perfectly!

Great shot. We have noticeably fewer starlings than just a few years ago. I have to admit that they annoyed me with the way they pushed other birds off the feeders, but I kind of miss them now!
