I'm not sure I've ever noticed how hairy the common wasp is before!
A closer look at a dead one I found in my bedroom when I got home from school. I have a lot of wasps coming in through my bedroom window at this time of year. Most of them I send outside again but occasionally they get trapped inside. This one must have slipped in unnoticed before I closed the windows and went to school, unfortunately.
