I mentioned on day 163 that I had plans for a long walk with family from Lancashire on today, but the prospect of spending all day outside, on a hill, in persistent heavy rain and strong gusts of wind wasn't terribly appealing and the drive down for the Lancashire people wouldn't have been pleasant, so we called it off late on Friday night!
I still went out though, taking the opportunity to go into Derby as I needed to pick up a few things (that, it turned out, was a foolish decision as it was soooo busy - I hadn't realised it was the Christmas light switch on day!) and on the way there, stopped in the mist (and rain and wind!) to take a few photos.
