I finally wore my husband down and persuaded him I needed a P900 - so I got it for a combined valentine/anniversary/birthday gift (anniversary and birthday aren't until later in the year!). Amazed by the zoom but finding it a bit tricky to hold still without a tripod.
@nickspicsnz I did at first too, as it was quite a bit heavier than my previous coolpix. It didn't take long to get used to it though, I have never used a tripod!
