A very busy day, all I managed today was checking out if anything had moved into a bug house I put up last week and then a late evening cup of tea in the garden.
@flowerfairyann yes, one of the holes has a mud cap at the end so something had laid eggs in there and sealed it. You can see a bee (or something!) in the photo above too, perhaps preparing to lay some eggs.
