A hoverfly in the garden

Another hot and sunny day brought lots of bees and hoverflies to the garden.

I had to google hoverfly images to see how they differ from worker bees. I think the main difference seems to be in the size of the eyes (but I may well be wrong!). Great image, lovely colours
