A full day's work with Staffordshire Wildlife Trust again today, same as last Wednesday, a day in the woods :) We had a flower theme this time - colours in nature hunt, spring flower spotting, seed planting, leaf bashing to create art plus the usual sort of activities including dens, rope swings, tree climbing, campfire (popcorn again), flint and steel striking and of course bug hunting!
That's a centipede in the picture - we also found beetles, worms, slugs, millipedes, earwigs and a baby smooth newt.
