Wine and Reading by roachling

Wine and Reading

I had a busy day volunteering with Derbyshire Wildlife Trust at a family fun day at Derby University. It was so busy, I didn't even have time to think about taking a photo and I was quite tired when I got home.

I remembered I needed a photo after dark, so took this one - a large glass of wine and a reading pile - just before I sat down to read.

I ended up not reading the magazines but starting two other books as well as the one pictured!

I also completely forgot to put up the favourite picture thread which I usually do on a Sunday night so am about to do that (on Monday morning!).

Oh and the little pipe cleaner creation is one of the things we were making at the event... it's a caddisfly larva poking out of his (stripy) case! It was a pirate themed fun day so we did watery crafts to do with crayfish, fish, dragonflies and caddisflies.

It does sound like a busy day but a relaxing way to end it with a selection of reading matter and a glass of wine. I do love your little caddisfly.
