Only just got today's photo taken, cutting it fine, just before midnight! I'm having a busy week and feeling tired and a little off kilter... I went to bed too late and then read into the early hours as I wanted to start this book I've been waiting almost a year to read (it has only just been published in paperback, I have an aversion to fiction in hardback!).
Hope it's worth the wait! I've got my little pile of books ready for June :-) I still haven't got a bookcase so they are stacked against the wall upstairs. But with the eldest we sorted them in colours, and now have a rainbow...
@overalvandaan I quite like colour sorted bookshelves! I've done that with my 'to read' shelf but the rest of the shelves are done by genres and then authors alphabetically!
To be honest, we only did it for fun and they are still colour sorted now. But when we finally have a proper book case / shelf they are going back to alphabet (for literature), way easier searching on author than on colour :-)
I'll read whatever I can get my hands on (but the last author I looked up from your collection -- some fantasy writer I had never heard of -- I found out I couldn't get here because it was only published in the UK... sigh).
@francoise oh that's a shame, I'm guessing it was James Oswald's dragon series! Stephen Booth is a local-ish author who writes crime fiction set in the Peak District, which is the national park I live on the edge of so I love reading these books as the settings are all familiar!
