I took this quick shot this morning on my way to do a bit of casual work, expecting to finish with plenty of time to get a better photo this afternoon if the fog lingered all day, which I suspected it would.
It did stay foggy, but it was a really busy day and I didn't leave until it was dark. I could see a beautiful inversion in the valley, but it was too dark to get a photo of that by then.
Appealing image all the same. You could still see the fog in the valleys as we travelled up the M1 to visit a customer as I wasn't driving I could look at all the missed opportunities!
