An early night with a good book and cup of lapsang souchong.
I was really enjoying this book until I reached the half way point and discovered there are some pages missing from this copy. I've had to stop reading it whilst I get a new copy. I will be getting a refund on this one!
It's historical fiction based on true events. Set in Eyam (Derbyshire) at the time when the plague was brought into the village via a sack of cloth from London and the villagers quarantined themselves to prevent it spreading to neighbouring villages.
@jenp Very annoying! I'm waiting for another copy to arrive so I can continue reading, and in the meantime, reading other books and hoping I don't forget the first half of this one, hehe!
