My grandmother bought me a chili plant last summer... I didn't want it and I'm not very good at looking after plants, but I had to keep it of course. I thought it would die before spring and it's never looked very healthy. I've watered it only a handful of times over the past year (as I said, not good with plants!) so I was pretty surprised to see it has several flowers and some leaves looking rather green - more green than brown now.
Well, it is a pretty plant and it seems to be quite happy with the care you give it. (My avocado plant is just one long stem now. All the leaves have fallen off but still there are tiny small leaves starting to grow on the top of the stem so it i not dead yet)
