Finally a bit of decent rain this evening. It was a tough day in the garden - so hot and I spent much of the day trying to dig out a big tree stump (sitting down, with a trowel, haha as I can't manage the big spade now!). I made surprisingly good progress and with a saw then help from Dave and a crowbar, got quite a few roots up. Extra helpers are coming soon to tackle it further.
Needed a photo for 30 days wild and was admiring rain drops on the elder this evening and noticed this little flower caught between branches (low down to the left).
Apologies for the lack of comments again - we've just been in the garden all week and honestly, I'm a bit shattered!
